Multicultural Elmore Court Wedding

Elmore Court is a stunning, historic wedding venue located in the Gloucestershire countryside. This 750-year-old family-owned estate offers a unique and versatile setting for weddings. The coach house where Anita started the preparations for her wedding day is set back from the main house and offers a bespoke bridal prep space. Claire at Hair Stylist Worcester and Kay Louise Makeup led wedding prep for Anita and her bridesmaids.
Anita’s henna had been applied previous to the day – it’s used to wish her health and prosperity in her marriage. This was to be a day of fun, with Indian & Chinese traditions throughout. The highlight of the day for me was capturing Anita & Perry in their different outfits in the perfect setting that is Elmore Court.
Perry started his day in one of the many suites at Elmore. Once I found him and his stylish entourage – that is the best word to describe them! – it was all hands on deck to make Perry look as good as possible!
After a first look with her bridemaids, Anita’s mum walked down the aisle with her to meet a super happy Perry who was overwhelmed with emotion. He’s probably reading this laughing right now but those smiles were absolutely everything.
Multicultural Elmore Court wedding ceremony
The ceremony was really lovely as Anita & Perry married in front of their floral wedding arch and the light streamed in the decorative stained glass windows in the court. It wasn’t long before the marriage was sealed with a kiss and Anita & Perry walked back down the aisle to rapturous applause. Confetti followed in the best place for it – right outside the front of Elmore Court.
At a multicultural elmore court wedding, when the bride is Indian and the groom Chinese, there’s always a real mix of guests and it was a real pleasure to photograph everyone enjoying garden games and drinks in the September sunshine on the lawn. It honestly was the perfect setting!
Kind words from Anita & Perry!
We can’t thank Marcus enough for the incredible job he did as our wedding photographer! He sent our photos back to us quickly (and there were so many!), and we are absolutely obsessed with them. Marcus captured the essence and blend of our cultures on our special day so beautifully.
Anita & Perry – Elmore Court
The photos are even better than we could have imagined, especially since we’re not the most natural in front of the camera. Marcus made us feel completely at ease, and it really shows in our couple portraits—we love how they turned out.
Many of our guests commented on how lovely he was and enjoyed chatting with him throughout the day. These photos will always be cherished reminders of the best day of our lives. Thank you, Marcus, for making our wedding so special! If you’re looking for stunning, natural shots, you need to book Marcus. We can’t recommend him highly enough!
The Gillyflower – Elmore’s bespoke wedding breakfast space – looked beyond incredible all set up – great work Signature Hire! and the speeches that followed were beautiful with lots of real raw emotion and honesty, just the way it should be.
The Indian & Chinese wedding traditions throughout Anita & Perry’s multicultural Elmore Court wedding were abundant in the evening after a change of outfit for both Anita and Perry with excellent Dhol drummers leading the dancing through the room and a Chinese tea ceremony.
