Hyde House Wedding Photo and Video
Morning wedding prep at Hyde House
It’s about time I blogged a wedding where I captured both photography and film. Enter stage left…the amazing Emma & Gareth! I’ve posted their 5 minute highlight film at the top of the post. Select fullscreen to view it as it should be seen and turn the volume up! I also created a 15 minute highlight film too and a ceremony and speeches film alongside the photography. Before I tell you about the wedding day, if there are any questions about how I capture photography and film together, pop a message in the contact form above and let’s chat!
The bridal suite at Hyde is spacious, light and on the morming of Emma and Gareth’s wedding, busy! There was so much happening when I arrived: wedding beautifying, the playlist was fire and Emma was more than a little excited! Leanne from Cotswold Wedding Hair & Makeup and Beauty by LivAtie were on make-up and hair duties! The morning continued to build with excitement, as did the emotion before Emma met her dad ahead of the ceremony. Meanwhile, in the library, Gareth and the boys were tying ties, attaching cufflinks and getting stuck into the Estrella!
The bar and the space outside the front of the house started filling up with guests around an hour before the ceremony. These spaces at Hyde are beautiful and enable lots of candids ahead of the ceremony whilst the guests relax. It wasn’t long before the lads all had a group hug and Emma made her way over to The Grange – check out the images to see the styling around the entrance and inside!
A Hyde House wedding ceremony in The Grange
The ceremony was fun as can be seen from the film; Emma & Gareth both fully present and excited to be reading their vows and be in the presence of their closest family and friends. It’s probably worth mentioning how great Gareth & Emma’s bridesmaids and groomsmen were; fully present and supportive all the way from the morning through to the dancing – check out the film to see all those happy faces! When capturing Hyde House Wedding Photography and Videography, I love movement!
Emma & Gareth left the ceremony room with big smiles and arms in the air before a run down the confetti aisle outside the house, a big group picture in the garden next to The Grange then onto Hyde House for the drinks reception.
Hyde House wedding photo and video review
‘Holy Moly! Speechless, crying & 2 bottles of champagne deep. You are so talented! We’re on the 4th viewing. Still crying!’
Wedding Breakfast
Needless to say, the party started pretty quick with local legend Joe Pike on Piano being helped out a little by the bride, Emma and the guests singing along and a super positive mood throughout. There was of course plenty of time for some couple photography and videography around the grounds of the venue – the weather did its thing and we had fun! We even got to pop out later as the amazing light that Hyde is know for made an appearance in the evening.
The wedding breakfast room looked perfect thanks to the Hyde House team, SS Flowers and Cotswold Wedding Co! The speeches were epic – thanks Gareth for the epic soundbite for the film (I’m going to say ‘wife’ loads!) but also for your honesty – I could tell from not just Emma’s reaction but also the bridesmaids and parents that the speech went down brilliantly! I also very much enjoyed Emma’s speech! The evening continued as the day had: lots of fun was had and the day developed into a big party – what’s not to love!? Both the cake cut and the first dance were full of fun.
