A rustic wedding at Stone Barn

Alison and Simon’s epic wedding day took place at Stone Barn, a super rustic wedding venue nestled on the edge of the Cotswolds. I can have favourites can’t I? The whole day was incredible and I literally didn’t stop snapping away. Alison and Simon had worked tirelessly to create their perfect day.

They couldn’t plan however for the epic August light that kept appearing and the feeling of fun that permeated throughout.

After spending some time capturing Alison getting ready, I met Simon and the boys. I don’t always get to capture groom prep so when I do it’s pretty special. Alison arrived at Stone Barn in a Figaro. A great choice for a wedding car!

There were smiles all round and a lot of love in the room during Alison and Simon’s wedding ceremony and this continued into the party. Carvers were chosen for the meat, the sun continued to shine through those big Stone Barn windows and there was even time for a few portraits with just Alison and Simon and of course, the speeches, before the dancing started.

A big thanks to Alison and Simon for choosing me and the team at Stone Barn for looking after me on the day.
