Spring Cold Harbour Barn Wedding Photography
When Vicky contacted me about Cold Harbour Barn, I thought I was heading to the seaside and needed my jacket…but alas, a Spring holiday was not on the cards. However, she had had found a total gem nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside. A stunning structure sat on a hill overlooking cornfields and echoes of the Italian countryside in the distance.
Cold Harbour is a total do-it-yourself wedding venue, gloriously rustic but beautifully homely.
Before Vicky could head to the Barn though, there was the small matter of a trip to Atomic Hair, a stop off home to get dressed and then onwards to All Saints Church in Chilton where Dan was waiting. I must admit, I wasn’t expecting the vicar leading the ceremony to arrive at the church as the bridal car pulled up…but better late than never!
With the June sunshine beating down outside, Vicky and Dan became husband and wife.
Outdoor reception at Cold Harbour Barn
Vicky and Dan had worked tirelessly to style Cold Harbour Barn. It looked incredible adorned with flowers, lights and of course homemade chocolates in the shape of the couple’s sausage dog and cat! The wedidng guests spent most of the day on the lawn – when it wasn’t dinner or speech time – a space totally made for grabbing a drink and relaxing.
There was of course time for a few pictures of Vicky and Dan as a couple on the lane into the barn and in the fields as sun set. It was a totally beautifully day for two lovely people. I don’t think either Vicky or Dan could have imagined their day more perfect than it was.
‘We’re so in love with all of our pictures, you’ve captured us, our family and friends, location and the atmosphere of the day perfectly! Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much! Xxx’ Vicky & Dan
