Brinsop Court Wedding Photography – Lloyd & Jacqueline chose the amazing Brinsop Court as the venue for their wedding day, a moated Herefordshire country house set in 800 acres. It’s a special place which allows you to spend the weekend with your family and friends. One of the best things about sprawling country pads is that the groom and bride can get ready in the same building, so I spent the morning photographing Lloyd and his chaps but also Jacqueline and her girls. As well as the couple’s dog guarding the wedding dress, he spent the morning lounging around in the corridor outside the bridal suite and later checking on the groom upstairs.
The ceremony in the wood-panelled Elizabethan Library was beautiful. Lots of laughter, smiles and emotion as Lloyd & Jacqueline were wed. As they walked back down the aisle after the register signing, you can see from the images how happy they looked! A mega confetti onslaught followed before the drinks reception both outside in the courtyard and in the main house. As a photographer, I’m forever blown away by the multitude of choices for pictures with the couple and today didn’t disappoint. A little wander into the woods to find the pretty light and Lloyd & Jacqueline headed back to their guests.
Speeches began after dinner in the most beautiful candelit Banqueting Hall, one of the oldest parts of Brinsop. Again, a really happy atmosphere permeated the room and it wasn’t difficult to know where to point my camera. Finally, it was all about the party – a little swaying from the bride and groom followed by a lot of swaying from everyone else…and a quite unique cardboard cut out!
It was amazing to work with the very talented Chris at Toast Films, get spoilt by the the caterers AtoZest and get to photograph the wonderful work of florists Issy & Bella.
