Surrey Engagement Photography – Sophie and Joe are getting married later this year (yes…actual 2020) at Mickleton Hills Farm in The Cotswolds. For their engagement shoot I headed east and met them at Leith Hill, the highest point in Surrey and the 20th highest point in the ceremonial counties of England – there you go fact fans! The hill features a beautiful tower and – quite handily – an ice cream shop! Could this be England highest ice-cream shop? I digress. Sophie & Joe started like most couples…looking at me like I was some sort of camera weilding alien but after not very long at all they relaxed and began to feel comfortable being photographed.
I like to think of an e-shoot as a walk with a lot of chatting and some pictures along the way! The hill was a mixture of trees, ferns and open woodland making up the forest, intersected with paths and grassy open spaces – perfect! The light was also particulaly beautiful the whole time filtering through the leaves. The high point (pun intended) was the view at the top!
Engagement shoots enable couples to get used to the camera before the big day, enabling them to be more relaxed so they can concentrate on enjoying it! If you would like to know more, check out the Engagement Shoot page.
