Old Gore Barn Wedding Photography & Film – Yasmin & Josh
Old Gore Barn Wedding Photography
When Yasmin & Josh first got in touch, I realised quickly that their day was equal parts celebration and party. It was the joining of families, the meeting of friends and a whole lot of dancing. Choosing Old Gore Barn, part of the Cripps Barn collection of venues, was a great decision. Yasmin & Josh included extra coverage so that as much of that party would be captured as possible; a great choice especially as Club Kudo were in charge of making the dancefloor bounce!
Getting ready for the big day was at the idyllic surroundings of The New Inn in Coln, close to the venue. Yasmin & Josh booked both photography and film so after a few few clips (see above for the full highlight film), it was off to Old Gore Barn which was all set up for the ceremony in front of the fire place. Flowers, greenery, Cotswold stone and a grinning Josh greeted Yasmin as she walked down the aisle.
After a wedding ceremony, it’s normal for the bride and groom to get showered with confetti. What Yasmin & Josh didn’t expect was a flyby by The Red Arrows! Old Gore hosted a beautiful afternoon reception in the sunshine. A roaming band, champagne towers, lots of dancing and watching the chefs at Old Gore create a feast over fire were highlights, before a few couple pictures then dinner! I’m a big fan of musicians during the day at weddings, it addeds another level of energy. Club Kudo delivered and more including playing Yasmin & Josh into dinner through the crowd. Jennifer Owens Music then took charge of the tunes for dinner.
The speeches were next after the wedding breakfast followed by more time in the rustic outdoors which Old Gore Barn does well with it’s half-in/half-out set up and is also the perfect space for some sparklers. Club Kudo took over once again for the party! It’s over to Yasmin & Josh for the final words.
Old Gore Barn Wedding Photography review
‘What can I say about Marcus other than ‘incredibly fantastic’. From the moment Marcus arrives he is more than a photographer. He guides you through important parts of the day with subtle pieces of advice. He is completely and utterly amazing at making you feel relaxed. From two people who hate being formal in front of the camera – thank you. Our pictures are something we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.
We were completely blown away by the (literal) thousand photos that came through. Marcus also captured our wedding video and had so much footage that we paid slightly more for a highlight and a feature film! Absolutely incredible. Mic drop. Out.’
