Snow at The Matara Centre

Araba and Jon were married at Matara in early 2018. Fast forward exactly one year and we are stood in a foot snow at Matara and these two are having a baby! I was totally honoured to capture them as an almost three! The snow added another element. It turned Matara into a beautiful winter wonderland.

Rather than the green fields which are always a pleasure to photograph, it was a sea of white. In the woods, the light shone off the snow, giving everything a very special glow. Despite all the white, there was lots of colour to be found, Araba’s red coat, the yellow of the flags and the ribbins on the wishing tree. Araba and Jon were complete naturals.

This was their third shoot with me and I hope there might be another one day once they have a new arrival!
