Great Tythe Barn Wedding Photography – Lizzie and Lewis were married at The Great Tythe Barn on a super sunny day in April…remember when Summer came early?! The gardens look awesome in Spring and the sky was the prettiest shade of blue. I met Lizzie and her bridesmaids in the main house at the Great Tythe Barn where it all got pretty emotional pretty quickly. Weddings are exciting things and happy tears happy often – especially when Jodie at Acacia delivers the most beautiful wedding flowers!
With all the rooms at the barn, Lewis was able to get ready close by and was looking very smart by the time the guests arrived. It wasn’t long before Lizzie’s dad escorted her down the aisle and the ceremony began. Check out the floral arch behind Lizzie and Lewis that Jodie made especially for the day. After the confetti was launched in Lizzie and Lewis’ faces, the drinks reception began and there was time for some portraits amongst the grounds of the barn. Lizzie and Lewis are one of the cutest couples I’ve photographed – check out the portraits and you’ll see they just ‘fit.’
The speeches were totally hilarious and incredibly emotional in equal measure. I continue to be amazed at how good wedding speeches are and rarely fail to get teary myself – today was no exception. The evening was rounded off by the very excellent Chip Shop Boys.
