Great Tythe Barn Wedding Photographer – The thing I remember about Alex & Bex the most is that they were totally besotted with each other. The speeches told the intricacies of their stories including that whenever Alex phones Bex, he asks to speak to the most beautiful girl in the world and Bex replies: ‘speaking!’ The importance of family and friends to Alex and Bex was also evident right from the morning preparations to the flashmob in the evening.
Alex & Bex chose the Great Tythe Barn as their wedding venue, a beautiful old building near Tetbury surrounded by fields and private gardens. After a lovely ceremony at the epic St Mary’s Church in Tetbury with its tall pews, followed by buckets of colourful confetti being emptied onto the couple, the drinks reception was back at the barn. The weather mostly did it’s thing enabling the guests to sepnd lots of time outdoors and for me to capture lots of relaxed natural wedding pictures – bonus! As always, while the guests headed in to dinner, there was time for a few couple pictures in the grounds of the barn.
What followed can only be described as a massive party – exactly what your wedding reception should be! Heckling during speeches, lots of guests up out of their seats during dinner chatting – a real buzz about the room! After the first dance, Alex took to the stage to play the saxophone – something Bex had never heard him do – and promptly stole the show! As always, the team at the Great Tythe Barn were on top form too!
