Barns and Yard Wedding Photography – Aisha & Neale chose Barns and Yard, at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire as their wedding venue. It’s obvious why. 100 acres of private farmland, a lakeside ceremony spot and a beautifully rustic feel throughout the venue certainly helped. This was my first visit to the venue – it’s been open since 2019 – and I loved it so much this blogpost is a loooooooong one!
The day started in Malvern where Aisha, her family and bridesmaids were getting ready. Her little boy was very much enjoying being the centre of attention while being looked after by everyone at once! It was definitely a hive of activity as the morning continued before everyone headed to the venue to meet her groom. The man himself, Neale, was waiting by the lake ready to meet Aisha. The location really was epic. The willow tree swaying in the breeze, guests seated on benches in an arc around the ornamental flower arch by The Flower Girls and the wooden jetty, ready to host the ceremony. Aisha walked across the lawns to meet Neale and the ceremony began.
After a certain ring bearer did his thing, Neale & Aisha were married and headed back up the aisle covered in handfuls of confetti. The drinks reception was perfect on the lawns with giant bubbles, lots of laughter and a bridesmaid pyramid! The guests headed to dinner and Aisha & Neale headed off for some pictures in the woodland. This is always one of my favourite parts of the day. A chance for the couple to get away from everything and relax a little ahead of their wedding breakfast. The rest of the day was so much fun: honest and sincere speeches, a little cornfield wandering, ‘chefs’ on each table to carve the meat, a little cake cutting then a lot of dancing!
