Marcus at Bigeye is an amazing photographer and a pleasure to deal with. He photographed our wedding in the Cotswolds (Barn at Upcote near Cheltenham) and did a perfect job of capturing our big day. The photographs are better than we ever expected and Marcus knew exactly how to put us at ease and bring out our best sides for the camera.
Marcus also worked hard all day in the background to photograph all the little details, the smiles and the interactions between our guests, so that we now have an amazing record of the day, which brings the memories roaring back.
Victoria & Adrian
The Barn at Upcote wedding photography – Victoria & Adrian chose The Barn at Upcote on a sunny August day for their wedding day. Victoria prepared for the day at 131 Cheltenham on The Promenade with Leanne from Cotswold Wedding Hair before heading over to The Barn at Upcote to marry Adrian! The barn looked incredible with the chairs for the ceremony set out in an arc facing the barn, with flowers by The Flower Studio adorning everything perfectly including a hexagonal arch. The guests arrived with lots wearing the essential summer wedding accesory – sunglasses and settled into their seats before Victoria appeared at top of the steps and began her walk down the aisle. The ceremony was lovely; super relaxed and full of smiles.
Confetti is always awesome at Upcote and Victoria & Adrian’s was no exception. The courtyard really lends itsself to a close group throwing things at your face while laughing! There was lots of relaxing and merriment during the drinks reception before a few pictures of Victoria & Adrian in the gardens at Upcote then it was time for a massive round of applause as they entered the barn for dinner. The long tables were perfectly set up with beautiful florals. Victoria’s father was the first to speak followed by a lovely joint speech by Victoria & Adrian before the best man stood up for his part in the middle of the barn.
Another great feature of wedidng photography at Upcote Barn is the top lawn. Victoria & Adrian’s guests enjoyed the space and the light as the day drew on before it was back to the barn for the dancing led by Dukebox Discos! A big thanks to Victoria & Adrian for inviting me along to their wedding day and also to the team at The Barn at Upcote for being endlessly epic!
