”Thank you so much, Marcus, for capturing our wedding day so beautifully. Your humour and patience helped us to feel relaxed as we got ready for our big day, and your photos have captured the love and happiness we felt brilliantly; you’re a superstar!” Fliss and Ade
Wick Farm Wedding Photography – I met Fliss and her crack team of bridesmaids at The Castle Inn in Bradford-on-Avon. Now when I say that Fliss is organised, I mean it. Everyone in the room was ready for the wedding by 11:30am. The ceremony was at 2pm! After being threatened with being thrown out of the window if I dropped one of the bride’s shoes out of the window while photographing them, I made sure I had captured the old wedding favourites of ‘bridesmaid with prosecco bottle on her head’ and ‘bridesmaids in an empty bath’ and hot-footed it to Wick Farm.
New venues are always very special. The opportunity to explore a fresh space is a lot of fun and Wick Farm was no different – a mixture of barns and fields was a bit of dream. The ceremony was lovely – filled with lots of happy nerves and emotion before Fliss and Ade (epic beard and suit alert!) emerged into the sunshine for prosecco, confetti and all round celebrating!
Strawberry Field Catering led by Laura did an amazing job of making the wedding breakfast room look pretty using Fliss’ beautiful author themed decorations. After a very tasty dinner, the emotion continued into the speeches (featuring a half naked groom no less!) before we headed off for a few portraits in the beautiful evening light.
