Owlpen Manor Wedding Photography and Film
A summer outdoor wedding at Owlpen Manor
There are many Owlpen Manor weddings on this blog, but that’s no reason not to add another, especially when it features the amazing Keira & Ollie! Despite having shot many weddings at Owlpen, I’d never had the pleasure of capturing an outdoor ceremony. This changed today!
Let’s start with the film. One of my favourites. A collection of beautiful moments in the sunshine for Keira & Ollie. You can watch the day evolve and see the happiness of these two throughout, right up to that incresible fun-filled first dance. Seeing that small barn room so full was heartwarming.
The morning of the wedding was busy with lots of activity in the bridal prep room with Keira and her bridesmaids. Ollie and his boys prepared for the ceremony in and around Grist Mill whilst a few guests used the newly established and beautifully named – Squirrel Wood Camp – which sleeps up to 14 in glamping tents.
The ceremony in the gardens was perfect. Keira, visibly overwhelmed with emotion, met Ollie at the top of the steps. There were two readings and a lovely giving away moment from Keira’s mum. Confetti in the sunshine followed, a quick big group shot while everyone was still together to keep things flowing then onto drinks in the formal gardens. The colour, the fun, the weather…all exactly as it should have been.
After the afternoon reception, the guests headed up to the Pole Barn which was all set up for the wedidng breakfast and beautifully decorated. Keira and Ollie made their entrance to rapturous applause soon after, but not before I captured some Owlpen Manor wedding photography and film with them in the grounds.

Speeches and dinner followed in the glorious surroundings. Keira and Ollie benefitted from the spoils of a summer wedding – that time after dinner when their guests spilled out of the Pole Barn into the sunshine. Owlpen suits this perfectly as the space outside is great for mingling. Of course, there was then some dancing as you can see from the images and the film above! The final words as always go to the bride and groom:
Owlpen Manor Wedding Photography and Film Review
‘Marcus captured our wedding day perfectly at Owlpen Manor. We used him for photo and video and both are incredible. He knew the venue well which was brilliant and meant we had photos in different parts of the venue, which was really special. We love watching the videos back and do this regularly.
The photos blew us away – in all honestly I was slightly reticent to take so many photos but my goodness did it pay off! They are moments we will cherish for the rest of our lives, thank you!’ Keira & Ollie
