Matara Wedding Photos – Lizzie & Adam chose the always epic Matara as the venue for their wedding day, a beautiful venue near Tetbury. It was all hands on deck when I arrived with Lizzie & Adam doing most of the morning prep themselves with Jenny Fleur on hand to floralise the venue (floralise is definitely a word!). It wasn’t long before Lizzie made her way over the cobbles to the cloistered ceremony area to meet Adam. The ceremony was lovely before Lizzie & Adam were covered with what can only be described as ‘the most confetti ever!’
They snuck off to plant and dedicate their wedding tree in the grounds of Matara towards the end of the drinks reception and made use of their wedding shoes to make sure it was firmly in the ground. I love this tradition at Matara. Couples can revisit their tree in the future and watch it grow! After a few pictures around the grounds, it was time for speeches (Adam’s reaction to his best men is well worth a look!), dinner, cutting the amazing creation by Storyteller Cakes and dancing! I loved all the fun and the colour at Lizzie & Adam’s wedding, it was super relaxed and great to photography. Enough of me, it’s time for a few words from Lizzie & Adam and to see the images!
