Matara Centre Wedding Photographer – Wedding number one of 2018 was epic. I’d met Araba and Jon for a pre-shoot prior to their wedding (click here) so I knew they had lots of excitement planned for their big day. We’d discussed a ‘first look’ where Araba and Jon would meet before their wedding ceremony at Malmesbury. They chose the beautiful Abbey House Gardens and it was a lovely moment. The super relaxed-nature of the day continued when Araba and Jon walked together down the aisle of Malmesbury Abbey to begin their ceremony.
What followed was an amazing celebration at the always awesome Matara near Tetbury. Smoke bombs, a harry potter themed cake topper, sparklers, a snow machine and the small matter of Kate Nash performing exclusively for the wedding party… a truly intimate and unique experience for everyone involved. There was an over-riding sense of joy from everyone who attended and a lot of warmth throughout the day. I honestly could go on for hours but the final words have to go to the super lovely Araba and Jon:
“Marcus sent us our photos at lightning speed – and they are absolutely phenomenal. Asking Marcus to shoot our wedding was the first joint decision we made and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We got endless compliments on the engagement photos he took way back in May. He was game to have some fun with props we brought (smoke bombs!) and tried a lot of different things to get us to warm up in front of his lens. At the wedding, he was a treat and our guests are raving about the amazing photos. Thanks a million Marcus – we’re so happy with everything.” Araba and Jon
