”When we met with you, we felt like you knew exactly what we wanted. We booked you straight away and included a pre-shoot which we were dreading! You made us feel so relaxed and we got into the swing of it after a few shots. Once we got those images back we knew you were going to do an amazing job at the wedding and we were not wrong!
We honestly cannot thank you enough. You really captured the feel of the day and I need to say sorry for giving you more editing work with the bouncy castle shots. But, we’re actually not sorry as they look awesome! We couldn’t have picked a better photographer and will 100% recommend you to friends and family.” Becky and Kevin
Great Tythe Barn Wedding – Becky and Kevin’s wedding was one of the most colourful, fun-filled weddings I have photographed. I’d got to know them both previously to hear about their plans and to capture their woodland pre-wedding shoot.
I arrived at the always immaculate Great Tythe Barn to capture some images of Becky getting ready. There was already lots happening including industrious pom pom hanging by Becky’s super efficient bridesmaids. The rings looked epic in a golden box filled with moss whilst the beautiful flowers for the bridal party sat waiting outside the cottage. Kevin arrived looking dapper in his suit – I think I need some style tips! – and the guests begun to arrive soon after. Throughout the barn, Painted by Katie had worked her magic on the beautiful order of the day and signs whilst Event Style took the chairs to another level! The ceremony room looked epic as Becky walked down the aisle to meet Kevin.
After a brief ceremony and a kiss to seal the deal, Becky and Kevin headed off back down the aisle into a sea of confetti. The time after the ceremony and before the guests sit down for dinner is always my favourite to photograph and the same was true today. I make no apologies for the amount of bouncy castle pictures below (this is only 10% of them…) as it really was a lot of fun. Luckily everyone looked after each other and no mother of the bride was harmed in the enjoyment of bouncy-castle-ing…
Becky, Kevin and their guests spent a large part of their evening outdoors too, something the Great Tythe Barn lends itself to beautifully. There was just enough time for some portraits around the grounds – and a visit to the donkey – before everyone hit the dance floor.
