‘Wow absolutely amazing!!! We are in love with the photos, can’t wait to download them and have a proper look when we are back in the country tomorrow. They are incredible! It has brought back so many memories, we cant stop smiling at them.’ Dan & Kezsa
Berkeley Castle Wedding Photographer – Kezsa and Dan chose the epic Berkeley Castle to host their wedding day. Dating from the 12th century, this wedding venue really impresses. Kezsa prepared for her big day in Brook House, a short walk away from the castle, with most of her family and bridesmaids! It was a really relaxed morning, with Mollie Fell in charge of beautifying, culminating in the first look with Kezsa’s bridesmaids – Kezsa had told me this was one of the things she was most looking forward to so…no pressure…cue some emotional reactions! Kezsa arrived at the castle in a beautiful green Daimler (ably assisted by her Dad helping with her beautiful Maggie Sottero dress) and headed to meet Dan, preceeded by her bridesmaids and flower girls.
The ceremony in the Great Hall was as grand as such a location inspires, with added excitable and very efficient ring bearer! Rings were placed on fingers, the registar was signed and it was back down the aisle to the drinks reception – via a barrage of confetti of course! With so much interest in the buildings, drinks receptions indoors at Berkeley Castle are something else – there were so many moments at Kezsa & Dan’s wedding. There was of course time for the essential couple portraits in the castle grounds before the wedding breakfast was served – a big shout out to Louise Pritchard Flowers and Napier Catering – the tables looked amazing.
Most of the speeches took place in the main room except Dan’s who chose the Long Gallery after the meal. I made sure I got a good vantage point to capture the guests, as well as Dan & Kezsa. We made use of the softer light in the evening for a few more portriats before Dan & Kezsa were announced into their first dance.
