Batsford Arboretum Engagement Photography – This weekend I would have been shooting Ellen & Chris’ April wedding at The Great Tythe Barn near Tetbury. Instead, let’s think positive and see it as extending the build up to the wedding…just think of how excited Chris is going to be when Ellen appears in the aisle!
Engagement shoots (or pre-shoots as you might hear them called) are a lot of fun. You don’t need to have just got engaged or even be engaged! They are a portrait shoot, a few months before your wedding day where you get used to the camera – and me! – have a nice day out and end up with lots of pictures of your about-to-be-married selves. What’s not to love!? It takes a few minutes to get used to the camera on your wedding day and having had an engagement shoot previously, really takes the edge off any nerves.
We headed to the always beautiful Batsford Arboretum for a wander amongst the trees. Here are a few of my favourite images. Ellen & Chris were complete naturals – once the giggling stopped of course! If you have any questions about engagement photography, please use the contact page at the top of my website or check out the engagment portfolio.
