Holford Arms Wedding Photography – I met Ellie on the morning of the wedding day with her bridesmaids at Ellie’s house in Cheltenham. Knowing that Ellie and Andy were keen cyclists, it wasn’t long before I had the wedding dress hung on the cycling picture and Ellie’s shoes on Andy’s bike. It’s important to bring elements of the couples’ lives into their wedding pictures when the oppotunity arises! There was one major constant from when Ellie arrived at Stroud Registry Office for the ceremony – rain. It was around throughout the way but we managed to dodge the raindrops enough so that there was plenty of time for couple portraits in the grounds of the Holford Arms, Ellie and Andy’s wedding venue.
The Holford Arms is a super cosy pub near Tetbury that houses a rather lovely marquee hidden away that can host a wedding reception. There is also lots of accommodation too. Ellie and Andy styled the marquee space beautifully, bringing in their love of cycling to the decor as well as many other stylish touches – it really was a representation of them and super relaxed. The whole day was so much fun to photograph, from the impromptu ukelele performance, Andy lifting Ellie up on the seat in the courtyard and of course the speeches! After the cake cutting (read: stabbing!) it was time for the part y to start. We managed to capture a few night time shots too amongst the fairy lights at the venue.

Dear Marcus, Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly. It was great fun having our photos taken with you and the photos are a brilliant memory of a fantastic day. We hope your 2019 wedding season is fun filled and eventful! Best wishes,
Ellie & Andy
