Merriscourt Wedding Photography – Victoria and Colin’s wedding was my first visit to the beautiful Merriscourt, nestled in the hearts of the Cotswolds. When the bride is a visual stylist and the groom a television producer, the styling was always going to look amazing but I also knew that with Rachel from The Rose Shed in charge of florals, that they too would be incredible. Victoria and her bridesmaids prepared for the ceremony at the venue before heading over to the nearby All Saints Church in her dad’s immaculate white VW Beetle to meet Colin.
Colin was lucking resplendent in green as he was greeted by his very smiley bride before a lovely ceremony. One of my favourite images below is the black and white as Colin and Victoria walk back down the aisle as husband and wife…look at those faces! After being piped out of the church to a shower of confetti, with a few raindrops thrown in, it was back to Merriscourt in the beetle – with now steamed up windows! – for a few portraits in the grounds before the party started.
Victoria and Colin were amazing throughout the day, ignoring the rain to have the best day, finished off with some portraits beneath that tree you see below in the evening amongst the fairy lights. A big thanks to Debbie at the venue for looking after me and also to Jumping Spider Films for their company and epic videography on the day – film link coming soon! The final words have to go to Victoria and Colin.
”We wanted to say thank you very much for our wedding pictures. They are simply amazing and everything we could have wished for! You captured those special moments without us realising it.” Victoria and Colin
