Birtsmorton Court wedding photography – Georgina and Jacob were married at St Mary’s Church in Deerhurst with their reception at Birtsmorton Court near Malvern. The morning of their wedding day was fun – hairdressing in Tewkesbury, pool at a rented farmhouse then dressing with both the bride and groom. There was lots to photograph, just the way I like it. Georgina took advantage of the time honoured tradition of not having to arrive on time for their ceremony. Luckily the rain held off and stayed away when Jacob and Georgina emerged from the church as husband and wife. They hadn’t been shy about providing plenty of confetti which I think they quickly regretted as handfuls of it rained down upon them!
The lady who lives in the house adjacent to the church had kindly offered us use of her garden for some pictures after the ceremony which we made us of before Jacob and Georgina jumped in their Jaguar to head to Birtsmorton. On arrival the heavens decided to open so the wedding guests headed to the main hall for drinks. This enabled me to photograph discreetly to capture a lot of candid special moments in the room. The image of the children hugging is one of my all time faves.
The rain waited until we were capturing some portraits in the grounds to show its face so the only thing to do was dive into the greenhouse and give Jacob a handily concealed boars mask…naturally! There was just enough time before the first dance for a few sunset portraits around and through the angel gate. Birtsmorton is a very special wedding venue and the perfect location for Georgina and Jacob’s big day.
