Birtsmorton Court wedding photographer – I’d been looking forward to shooting Stu and Laurie’s wedding at Birtsmorton Court for an age. There aren’t many wedding venues in Gloucestershire that are essentially houses surrounded by a moat! It’s the venue I’m at the most in 2016 too so it was important I got to know it well.
We’d met in Bristol for a few pictures around the Clifton Suspension Bridge previously and I’d got to know Stu and Laurie a little better. For them, their wedding day was all about the fun. Just enjoying themselves with friends and family. So that’s what I captured. The sun shone constantly – perfect for the outdoor ceremony – the swans performed and the emotion was definitely evident from the nerves in the morning to the happy tears later in the day.
Exploring the grounds for the portraits was a real treat. Birtsmorton has a full time gardener who ensures it looks amazing all of the time.

”We have received the pictures and all I can say is WOW – we love them! You had hard subjects to work with and you managed to get some great pictures of the day (I had my eyes open and everything :-)) It was great to get some really natural pictures of everyone enjoying themselves – the ones of Dad and me I particularly love. Thank you for being part of our day and doing such an amazing job.
