Elmore Court wedding photographer – Elmore Court is an epic place. It’s the kind of venue you fall in love with the moment you arrive. The house is beautifully imposing while the acres of grassland acres stretch as far as the eye can see. It’s topped off nicely with an amazing staff and a reception venue hidden away behind like no other – The Gillyflower.
I met Jess on the morning of her wedding at Elmore to capture preparations followed by guests arriving. I could have easily tripled the amount of pictures in the blog but instead I’ve chosen some special moments from the morning. Jon arrived in plenty of time before the ceremony as did most of the guests who enjoyed milling around the venue. It was so busy with wedding guests exploring the grounds it almost felt like the drinks reception. The ceremony itself was very lovely. Calm, considered and confetti covered.
The weather for Jon and Jess’ portraits couldn’t have been better. We used the time when the guests were heading into the reception to nip off around the grounds before returning to the Gillyflower for dinner and speeches. I love how the rammed earth walls make just as an amazing backdrop as the fields around. After the formal parts of the day were done, cue lots of hilarious group actics, a lot of dancing and a little cigar smoking at sunset. A big thanks Jon and Jess for inviting me to photograph your big day.
It’s a must – after viewing the images below of course – to checkout the incredible video from the chaps at Jumping Spider Films – if you are looking for a videographer, look no further.
The final words have to go to the bride and groom. When I say these two are very lovely and were a pleasure to spend the day with, I mean it. If you are looking for an Elmore Court wedding photographer, get in touch!
”Our wedding day absolutely flew by, but we are so incredibly grateful to Marcus for truly capturing the essence of the whole day with the most beautiful set of photographs. When we were looking to book a photographer, we were really looking for the right person – not just someone who would take brilliant photographs, but someone we also felt comfortable around, who would fit into the day and help us capture our wedding as we saw it.
We were very lucky to find all of these attributes in Marcus, he really listened to what we asked for and made it happen! Marcus was utterly fantastic from start to finish, we cannot praise him highly enough. Photographs are one of the few permanent, physical things to take away from a wedding day, and we are over the moon with how ours have turned out. Thank you again, Marcus!”
