Oxleaze Barn wedding photography – Oxleaze Barn is a versatile venue on the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire border which allows couples the flexibility of having an outdoor wedding whilst still being close to the big old barn. It’s got character too and I can completely see why Andy and Cat chose it as their wedding venue. There are dogs, ducks, chickens, a pond and green spaces galore…plus the odd horse and cart if you look in the right place…
The sun was most definitely shining when Cat arrived in a Morris Minor from The Lamb Inn in Burford where she had been getting ready with her bridesmaids, to meet Andy at the top of the aisle. After a lovely outdoor summer ceremony, Andy and Cat encountered what can only be described as a confetti-tunnel shower followed by lots of time with their guests in the courtyard and a few garden games. I managed to steal them away for a little while and we went exploring in the extensive grounds.
The inside of the barn looked great with plenty of colour complementing the rustic interior. I could not resist getting some close-ups of the decorative table runners. The travel theme and maps around the venue really added to the feel. After a very scrumptious dinner, the speeches began culminating in the best men playing a game called ‘Shorter than Shorty’ where guests had to decide whether various famous people were taller or ‘shorter’ than Andy. As the evening drew in, the garden games really came into their own and the party started!
