Great Tythe Barn wedding photography – Jason and Tanya were married on a beautiful summers day at the Great Tythe Barn near Tetbury. I’d met them both before at Sudeley Castle for their engagement shoot and heard how the day was going to be super colourful and that guests would be coming from all over the world. From the moment I arrived it felt like a military operation…albeit a very relaxed one with lanterns and pastel pom poms! Tanya had made sure all of her friends and family members at the barn had a job to do. She had even found time the night before to create a very intricate chalk table plan. Inside the barn there were incredible Zimbabwean bead animals as favours adorning each table place alongside the beautiful flowers throughout the barn courtesy of the very talented Jodie at Acacia Floristry.
It was a lively affair in the morning during the getting ready part of the day with Tanya’s bridesmaids ensuring she had her feet firmly on the ground, before a very lovely ceremony in the barn. Jason might be the first to admit he was a little nervous but by the time they walked out of the barn he looked like the most relaxed man on the planet.
The Great Tythe Barn is a great place for wedding photography providing a number of amazing locations and backdrops. Today was a little different in that after the normal group shots were captured in the grounds of the barn, we headed over to the field opposite which just happened to be full of wild daisies…
There are lots of images below…here are a few very nice words from Tanya and Jason to get you started!
‘Marcus, we wanted to thank you so much for taking photos on our wedding day. It all went by in such a blur that having the photos that you took is the most wonderful gift – you captured the laughter, the tears of joy and the whole atmosphere of the day so perfectly.
I cannot stop looking at the images and smiling. I have recommended you countless times and will continue to do so. Massive thank you!
Mr and Mrs Graham’
