Fiona and Kesh – A Pre-wedding shoot at The Matara Centre

Fiona and Kesh will be married at The Matara Centre in early April! I won’t let on too much about the day now but let’s just say that there are two dresses, two make-up looks and the official part of the day begins at 10:30am, with a meeting between Fiona’s and Kesh’s parents on the lawn in front of the main house. To say I am excited about their wedding day is an understatement…it’s going to be amazing!

We were meeting at Matara to chat through a few things anyway, so used the expansive grounds of Kingscote Park then headed  into the main village of Kingscote, to a lovely little wooded area that looked as if it had been built specially for us.

Fiona and Kesh brought their dog Indie along for the shoot too, who, after tearing around the park for a mad ten minutes, settled down for a few pictures. We began at the Japanese Torii Arch, before heading through the woodland to the Temple Bells then onto the swing.  After a few shots static, we went for the ‘kiss in the middle of a swing without falling off head first shot…’ which I think worked! You decide – it’s the square crop below.

After what can only be described as a torrential downpour in the morning, the afternoon gave us beautiful sunshine and we had a great time exploring the venue. The countdown to the wedding day has begun…t-minus 28 days and counting!
