I met Sarah and Jon at the Frogmill Inn, in Shipton Oliffe, about 6 miles outside Cheltenham. A listed building built with parts dating from the 17th Century, the Frogmill has recently been renovated, to once again provide a fantastic venue for weddings.
The weather was great, bright, but not too bright! After checking out the venue and discussing all the important bits, we headed off to Lineover Wood – it is accessed by what can best be described as a muddy, dirty track, just off the A40 although I’m sure there’s an easier way in! Despite the difficult entrance, the space is ideal for photographing a couple, particularly when there are children involved!
After Sarah and Jon woke their daughter up, from sleeping in the car, it was photo time. After a few informal shots, Sarah and Jon set about looking for the right sized stick for their daughter’s pet Bearded Dragon, named Bob, to further wake her from her tiredness. After many attempts, a suitable stick was found! I hope Bob appreciated the effort that went into the search!
Keep an eye out for the wedding photos, arriving on the blog sometime around early May.
